Sehnsucht nach Rimini
Synopsis
After surviving a heart attack, bus company owner Marianne Toeplitz should be more concerned about her health than her struggling business. However, it is only after an argument with her daughter Susanne—who wants to merge with the competition—that Marianne begins to take her health seriously. Defying reason, Marianne sets off for Italy with her granddaughter Nellie, a teenager in love who wants to join her boyfriend in Rimini, the very place where Marianne once had an unforgettable romance with the charming Giuseppe. Susanne follows the two and finds herself reconnecting with her ex-husband. Meanwhile, Marianne discovers that old love never truly fades.
