Seide
Synopsis
Young Seide lives in a secluded mountain village in the heart of Kyrgyzstan. She cherishes her freedom to ride her horse, her closest companion, and enjoys playing with the village boys. When the prospect of an arranged marriage arises, her family decides to honor tradition by killing Seide’s horse for the wedding celebration. Upset and feeling powerless, Seide tries to understand her family’s decision but cannot accept the fate of her horse. Unfortunately, like Seide, the horse has nowhere to go.
