Shiloh

Synopsis
A beagle that has been abused escapes from its owner and encounters a boy named Marty Preston while on the road, following him home. The boy quickly bonds with the dog and calls it Shiloh. Marty's strict father refuses to allow the dog to stay because it belongs to Judd Travers, a local hunter. After Shiloh is mistreated again, he runs away and returns to Marty; anticipating that his father will force him to return Shiloh to Judd, Marty builds a shelter for the dog in an old shed on a hill near the Preston house and hides him from his family. The concealment is discovered when a stray attacks Shiloh one night, prompting Marty to seek his father's assistance.
