Shin Abarenbô Shogun
Synopsis
The eighth shogun, Tokugawa Yoshimune, combats widespread corruption in Edo while living incognito among the common people as Tokuda Shinnosuke, the third son of a poor samurai retainer, known to many as "Shin-san." The narrative follows Yoshimune as he grapples with concerns over the line of succession, political tensions within Edo Castle, and a complex case involving a conspiracy in the castle town, featuring new characters and incorporating elements of the period.
