Shin Kamen Rider: Prologue

Doctors Kazamatsuri and Onizuka are geneticists conducting research aimed at developing cures for diseases such as AIDS and cancer by experimenting to enhance the human body. Their test subject is Shin Kazamatsuri, a motorcycle racer and the son of Doctor Kazamatsuri. Unbeknownst to them, their research is funded by a syndicate group that intends to use the findings to create enhanced human bodies for its own purposes—they have previously experimented with cyborg soldiers, with limited success. However, the syndicate did not anticipate Onizuka's personal agenda; the eccentric Onizuka seeks to create a new species by fusing grasshopper DNA with the test subject's, with the goal of establishing a new civilization and positioning himself as its deity. He has already tested the procedure on himself, though Shin appears to be responding more positively to the treatment.
