Synopsis
After the unexpected death of his mother, young football player Julian Maxwell struggles to support his depressed and unemployed father while keeping a secret he once shared with his mother: he is gay and performs in drag shows. *SHOWBOY* is a film that explores themes of family, loss, and the journey toward freedom and self-acceptance in the face of personal affliction.
