Sierra
Synopsis
In *Sierra*, a father and his son find themselves losing a race, prompting the boy to transform into a car tyre in a desperate attempt to win. The film uses dark irony to examine toxic masculinity while immersing viewers in a surreal world of car racing. Loosely inspired by the director's childhood, this animated black comedy incorporates fragments of a stop motion film created by the director's father during Soviet Estonia.
