Silent Night
Synopsis
Assistant Pastor Josef Mohr arrived in Oberndorf in 1818. During a period of political upheaval and economic hardship, he composed a Christmas carol in collaboration with the teacher Franz Gruber. The main roles in Franz Xaver Bogners' fictionalized history of the world's most famous Christmas song, "Das ewige Lied," are played by Tobias Moretti, Heio von Stetten, and Erwin Steinhauer.
