Synopsis
In 1930s Australia, Anglican clergyman Anthony Campion and his reserved wife, Estella, are invited to visit renowned painter Norman Lindsay, whose upcoming contribution to an international art exhibition has been deemed blasphemous. As Campion and Lindsay engage in a debate, Estella becomes captivated by the three striking models posing for the painter's current work: freethinking Sheela, sensual Pru, and virginal Giddy.
