Slacker
A day in Austin’s off‑beat underbelly follows a chain of quirky misfits—philosophical drifters, opportunistic dream‑sellers, and aging anarchists—each racing against their own apathy to prove that even the laziest can find purpose in absurdity.
Synopsis
Austin, Texas, is a haven for the young and unambitious, attracting those ranging from the enthusiastically eccentric to the dangerously apathetic. In this environment, the nobly lazy can avoid responsibility in favor of pursuing their esoteric obsessions. Among the locals is a backseat philosopher who passionately discusses his dream theories with a seemingly unresponsive cabbie, and a young woman who attempts to sell Madonna-related merchandise.
