Slim Susie
Synopsis
When Erik, a Stockholm urbanite, learns that his beauty-queen sister, Susie, is missing, he returns to their rural roots to search for her. As he interacts with the eccentric locals—including a shy video store clerk and a corrupt police officer—Erik discovers a woman who is vastly different from the girl he remembers. The film is directed by Ulf Malmros, an award-winning filmmaker, and blends black comedy with a distinct hipster flair.
