Synopsis

A vain queen relies on a magical mirror, forged by the Black Knight, to assure her daily that she is the most beautiful in the realm. When the mirror reveals that Snowwhite, the king's daughter, has surpassed her in beauty, the queen commands the Black Knight and the jester Andreas—secretly in love with Snowwhite—to kill her. Instead, the knight fakes her death, and seven dwarfs take her in at their magical mine. The dwarfs share various secrets with her, including their true identities, and devise a plan to save her, while the disguised queen plots to kill her once the mirror reveals Snowwhite is still alive.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 21

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
