So Much for So Little
Synopsis
*Little Johnny Jones*, depicting a child to be born in the next year and shown growing to a ripe, healthy old age, highlights the efforts of local public health officers in ensuring his well-being. The film notes that without such services, Johnny might be among the 5% of children who die in their first year. The cost of the public health service is estimated at about 3 cents a week. The film was preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2005.
