So This Is Harris
Synopsis
The film consists of a series of comical musical numbers and skits following Phil Harris, beginning with his performance at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub, which is heard by Dorothy on the radio. Dorothy's home-brewing husband, Walter, dislikes Harris. The action shifts to a country club where Walter unknowingly encounters Harris while being annoyed by his music. Walter then pretends to be Phil to meet a woman, while Harris "entertains" her friend, Dorothy. The film was preserved by the Academy Film Archive in partnership with the Library of Congress Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division in 2012.
