Synopsis
Keith Nelson, an artistic high school outsider, attempts to secure a date with the popular Amanda Jones with the assistance of his tomboy best friend, Watts. Watts, however, begins to realize her feelings for Keith extend beyond friendship and tries to persuade him to stop chasing Amanda. The situation becomes more complicated when Keith's invitation angers Amanda's wealthy and snobbish ex-boyfriend, Hardy Jenns, who plots revenge.
