Synopsis
After being caught with her mother's boyfriend, Australian teenager Heidi is forced to leave home with little choice in the matter. With few options available, she moves to Jindabyne, a small tourist town. There, she meets Joe at a bar and begins a relationship with him, hoping to find a sense of normalcy and a stable home life. Heidi makes gradual progress by securing a job and finding a place to live, but her relationship with Joe faces numerous challenges along the way.
