Somewhere in Tonga
Synopsis
Passionate social worker Wolski is determined to leave Germany behind. He seeks to offer delinquent teenagers a fresh start on an uninhabited island in the Kingdom of Tonga. His first candidate is Marcel, a 16-year-old with a history of drug use, violence, and criminal behavior. A visit to the main island turns disastrous, but Wolski barely prevents Marcel from being sent to prison. The agreement is clear: from now on, Marcel is not allowed to leave the remote island under any circumstances.
