Synopsis
*Summer on Three Wheels* follows Flake, a shy outsider whose life is complicated not only by the unusual name he inherited from his parents—after the stuttering keyboardist of a famous rock band—but also by his inability to confess his feelings to the girl he secretly loves and to stand up to his rival. His poor choices lead him to Kim, a drug dealer, and Philipp, a bitter wheelchair user. From this unlikely pairing, a unique journey unfolds: a road movie in which the trio travels at a leisurely 45 km/h on a Piaggio moped from the heights of Stuttgart to Lake Constance.
