Synopsis

At midnight in a graveyard, the main characters are spooks, ghosts, bats, bells, and, ultimately, the sun. As the clock strikes twelve, twelve spooks appear, followed by two ghosts, who move in rhythm with the music. Against the black night, they appear in blue and yellow. Bats emerge, along with a xylophone made of bones. Mist rises, and the spooks swirl. A bell tolls, and the sky turns light blue, causing the ghosts' dance to slow. Then the black night returns, bringing hints of frenzy. Bones play snare drums, and spooks peek out of square graves. Scary faces appear, and frenetic movement takes over. A rooster crows, and all return to earth as the light of the sun appears.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 3

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
