Squatter's Rights

Two chipmunks have established a snug home inside the wood-burning stove of an abandoned cabin. They sleep in a matchbox, bathe using an acorn shell filled with water, and use the back of a spoon as a mirror for their reflections. They've even constructed a staircase from a pocket comb. Their peaceful existence is disrupted by the arrival of Mickey Mouse and his dog Pluto, who plan to spend a relaxing vacation in the cabin. The chipmunks remain unaware that they are not alone, as Pluto quickly detects their presence while Mickey remains oblivious. When Mickey attempts to light the stove, the matches mysteriously go out, though he is unaware that the chipmunks are the ones blowing them out. As a result, Mickey is forced to go outside to chop wood, leaving Pluto alone with the chipmunks. Pluto is determined to confront them, but his efforts will only result in him getting covered in ketchup.
