Start Anew World
Synopsis
After the Darr mine blast in Pennsylvania in the winter of 1907, Romanian immigrant cobbler Petru waits at his home for his cousin Pavel's pregnant wife to arrive following her 40-day journey across the Atlantic. A quiet man, Petru is in love with Anna but must also deliver the news of her husband's recent death. He faces the difficult choice of taking responsibility for altering her life, as Anna must find the strength to emerge as the strong woman behind the teenager she appears to be.
