Steel Magnolias
Synopsis
Set in Louisiana, "Steel Magnolias" is a contemporary adaptation of the beloved stage play and 1989 film, following the lives and friendship of six women. They gather at Truvy’s beauty shop to support one another through their triumphs and tragedies, discussing the mysteries of life and death, husbands and children—and, of course, hair and nails. These are the important topics that unite and celebrate women.
