Stella
Synopsis
Stella is six years old and starting school for the first time. She is a cheerful and energetic child, though sometimes overly so, but she frequently misses school. Her parents describe her as fragile. When asked by her teacher, Céline, about some bruises she has, Stella says she fell. As the bruises continue, questions arise about whether they are the result of child abuse or a genuine immune deficiency. Doubt grows among those who come into contact with the child. Concerned, Céline begins to document each injury until the day the family suddenly moves away without informing anyone.
