Synopsis
Based on the beloved children's book, the animated film *Stellaluna* follows a spirited young fruit bat who discovers friendship, love, and acceptance in unexpected places. Brimming with music, laughter, warmth, and excitement, the story centers on Stellaluna, an adorable fruit bat who is separated from her mother and adopted by a family of birds. However, she struggles to fit in, as her bird friends sleep at night while she is active, and they whistle and sing, while she lacks a beak. When it seems she may always be an outsider, Stellaluna makes an amazing discovery, learning to cherish the qualities that set her apart. Through an open mind and an open heart, she comes to understand that being different can lead to meaningful connections and unexpected gifts.
