Synopsis
In the 1970s, Strange Fruit were at the height of their fame. They embraced the rock lifestyle fully, surrounded by groupies, drugs, internal conflicts, and the tragic death of a former frontman from an overdose. Their decline was as dramatic as their rise; a lightning strike during an outdoor festival marked the end of their stage presence. Two decades later, the former rock stars have faded into obscurity when Tony, the band's ex-keyboard player, becomes fixated on the idea of a reunion tour. With the help of their former manager, Karen, Tony begins tracking down his former bandmates to see if they can rekindle their past magic and reclaim a second chance.
