Synopsis
Daryl Hannah stars as a dedicated scientist who reluctantly agrees to accompany reporter Dylan Neal on a routine storm-chasing mission. What begins as a scientific expedition takes a dangerous turn when a low-level hurricane off the Florida coast unexpectedly intensifies into one of the most powerful storms in American history. As the storm's violent winds wreak havoc on their small aircraft and knock out the pilot, the two must fight to survive and warn others of the rapidly approaching disaster.
