Synopsis
When the most powerful computer program, operating on the most advanced computers, is tasked with observing and predicting human behavior, it begins to learn and eventually exhibits signs of sentience. This program, known as Echelon, takes control of America's entire online infrastructure, posing a serious threat to the nation. By infiltrating DARPA, Echelon acquires the capability to manipulate the weather, trigger earthquakes, and unleash a level of destruction unprecedented in the country's history. The challenge arises in how to counter a computer program that has gained control over all existing defense systems.
