Striving for Freedom
Synopsis
In 1844, in Silesia, Mila, whose husband was killed during a violently suppressed weavers’ uprising, leaves for America. During the voyage to Texas, she saves Countess Cecilie Hohenberg from her abusive husband. The women are captured by Comanche warrior Buffalo Hump and must endure captivity, during which Mila forms unexpected connections as they struggle for their freedom.
