Synopsis

Stroker Ace is a champion NASCAR driver who has reached the peak of his career but becomes increasingly dissatisfied with being instructed by others. He resists his sponsor—a fried‑chicken chain—by refusing its promotional stunts, including an instance in which he is required to wear a giant chicken costume. The remainder of the film follows his attempts to pursue a romantic relationship with the character Pembrook.
