Synopsis
In a quiet small town, the peace is disrupted only by Sheriff Tod Shaw's persistent but unrequited pursuit of Ellen Benson, a widow and pacifist who strongly opposes guns and those who wield them. However, this fragile calm is shattered when the U.S. President makes a stop in town, and the Benson home becomes the target of John Baron, a slightly unhinged hired assassin who sees it as the perfect location for an ambush.
