Synopsis
The story of the struggle for women's suffrage extends far beyond the actions of Emmeline Pankhurst or the tragic death of Emily Davidson. In her exploration, Lucy Worsley places herself at the center of the movement, joining a group of remarkable young working-class suffragettes who defied the rules and expectations of Edwardian British society during the years 1901 to 1910.
