Sundarboner Goppo
Synopsis
Naren is a young boy from a fisherman family in the Sundarban region. He is naturally curious about fishing in the jungle. One day, he manages to accompany his father into the forest. At night, while everyone is occupied with fishing, a tiger attacks his father and retreats into the jungle. The others follow the tiger in an attempt to recover his body. Naren runs with the group but becomes lost in the forest. He is rescued by a young girl who saves him from the tiger and safely brings him to her tree house in the jungle. There, Naren learns her name is Jhinuk. She is the only daughter of Rahaman, a forest dacoit.
