Synopsis
Lonnie and Rick appear to be complete opposites at first glance. Lonnie, a suicide survivor, is introverted and uncomfortable around her parents, Lois and Harvey. In contrast, Rick is cheerful and charismatic. However, as the teens begin a romantic relationship, their families discover that appearances can be deceiving. Upset by Lonnie's influence on Rick, his parents prohibit the couple from seeing each other, leading to tragic consequences.
