Synopsis

Michel'le was discovered at a young age in South Central, Los Angeles, and quickly rose to prominence amid the early success of N.W.A. Her shy, squeaky-voiced persona became a defining feature as she entered the music industry. Surrounded by influential figures such as Eazy-E and Tupac Shakur, Michel'le achieved chart success. However, her career was soon overshadowed by personal turmoil, including betrayal and corruption. A nearly decade-long romantic relationship with Dr. Dre led her into a life affected by alcohol, drugs, and violence. Suge Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records and Dre's business partner, emerged as a key figure in her life, and their friendship eventually developed into a romantic relationship. However, the partnership Michel'le believed they had did not result in a lasting union. With children from both men and a career to manage, Michel'le's voice was largely overshadowed by the powerful figures in Compton. Until now.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 24

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
