Sweet Revenge
Synopsis
While serving as a major in the U.S. Army, Joe Cheever begins a relationship with the daughter of his commanding officer, which results in a pregnancy. Cheever persuades the woman to undergo an illegal abortion, but the procedure goes awry and she dies. To safeguard his career, Cheever falsely implicates Captain Dennison, leading to the captain's downfall. Years later, Dennison's sister, Katherine, marries Army Major Alex Breen. Katherine is shocked to discover that Breen's commanding officer is now Colonel Cheever. Determined to avenge her brother, she becomes consumed with the idea of seeking revenge.
