Synopsis
During the Indian Rebellion of 1857 at Gwalior Fort, Lakshmibai, Rani of Jhansi, in a moment of despair, inspired her men by recounting the heroic tale of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a courageous Telugu chieftain who had taken up arms in 1846 to resist the many injustices and crimes committed by the leaders and military forces of the East India Company.
