Symphony of Suffering is an anthology of short films featuring work from prominent filmmakers in the fetish-gore sub-genre. It includes contributions from Jonathan Doe, known for the *Erotic Grotesque Nonsense* trilogy; Jack Mulvanerty, creator of *Scarlet Piss Princess*; White Gardenia, of *Mutilation Theater*; and Blucifer, behind *Putrid Menstrual Slime*. The feature is scored to the Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal, the oldest known melody in recorded history. The anthology explores the idea that the connection between pain and art is as deeply embedded in human expression as the origins of music itself.
