Synopsis
Throughout the 1950s, Tab Hunter was one of Hollywood’s leading male heartthrobs. During his years of stardom, however, Hunter kept a personal secret: he was gay. His time in Hollywood was marked by the challenges of maintaining a public image that concealed his true identity, a situation that often placed him in a vulnerable position. In his first-hand account, Hunter describes what it was like to be a studio-produced movie star during the Golden Age of Hollywood and the impact of living as someone very different from the image his studio promoted.
