Synopsis
The Wolves baseball team discovers it has been inherited by K.C. Higgins, a suspected “fathead” who plans to take an active role in managing the club. K.C. proves to be a knowledgeable woman with expertise in baseball, and second baseman Dennis Ryan quickly falls in love with her. Meanwhile, his playboy roommate Eddie O’Brien holds different ideas about how to treat the new female owner, while unsavory gamblers have their own plans concerning Eddie.
