Synopsis
In this faith-based thriller, an ex-con kidnaps a Christian couple in an attempt to avenge his son's murder. The film stars Angus MacFayden and Haylie Duff. Years earlier, Lucas Blackstone (MacFayden) helplessly witnessed the cold-blooded killing of his son. After being released from prison, Lucas seeks revenge with a .357, determined to carry out justice himself. He kidnaps Shawn Everett (Bradley Dorsey) and his wife Carrie (Duff) from a campsite and forces them to drive him to the town of Trinity, where he plans to execute his target. As the trio travels toward their grim destination, Lucas learns that Shawn and Carrie have relied on their faith to mend their troubled marriage. Unmoved by their devotion, he threatens to kill them if they attempt to stop him. Eventually, a shocking revelation about his intended target causes the grieving father to question everything he believed to be true.
