Synopsis

A dramatic story about human existence, love, ups and downs in a fascinating and fascinating dance of life among the shards. With his film, director Marek Ťapák loosely follows the strong tradition of music and dance films created by legendary Slovak filmmakers in the past, and projects them into a newly developed current form. The story is based on the imagination of the main character, emerging from the depths of memory, who lives his powerful life situations and experiences through dance, captivating music, tenderness and the power of the poetic word. His journey is pieced together from the individual shards of his life, which together form a fascinating mosaic of images moving through time and space.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 10

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
