Synopsis
Tappy Toes is an animated film following the adventures of Pingo, a young penguin who discovers a pair of tap shoes in an old steamer trunk and realizes he can tap dance, a skill no other penguin possesses. Pingo is also unique in that he is raised by Lou and Buddy, a pair of birds of prey who originally intended to eat him but instead took him in as their own. Pingo's tap-dancing talent draws the attention of Bella, a young female penguin, and may also be crucial in preventing the hermit crab Gabby and his sea lion sidekick, Thrasher, from destroying a penguin colony where Pingo's long-lost parents reside.
