Taxi
A defiant Tehran cab driver turns his taxi into a rolling interview studio, determined to expose the raw voices of everyday Iranians before his government ban silences him forever.
Synopsis
A yellow taxi drives through the lively and colorful streets of Tehran. A variety of passengers enter the vehicle, each openly sharing their thoughts during an impromptu interview conducted by the driver, who is none other than director Jafar Panahi. Using a camera mounted on the dashboard of his mobile film studio, Panahi captures the essence of Iranian society through this blend of comedy and drama during the course of the ride.
