Synopsis
In an effort to make Mars habitable for humans, 21st‑century scientists devised a plan to warm the planet by sending cockroaches and mold to its surface; the mold would absorb sunlight while the insect corpses would provide food for the fungus. By the year 2577, the first crewed spacecraft landed on Mars with six astronauts prepared for their mission. Upon arrival they encountered giant mutated humanoid cockroaches possessing great physical strength. The crew was killed after transmitting a report back to Earth. Humanity then intends to dispatch elite forces to eradicate the mutated insects and reclaim Mars.
