Synopsis
A TV film adaptation of Victoria Wood's successful musical, set in Manchester in 1929 and 1969. Middle-aged loners Tubby and Enid attend a reunion of the children's choir they once sang in, and the music stirs up strong memories, prompting them to realize they still have the potential to find happiness.
