The Bandit
A freshly freed bandit returns to a flooded hometown to track down the woman he once loved and reclaim the gold betrayed by his former friend, only to confront deadly urban rivalries that threaten his quest for redemption.
Synopsis
The film follows the story of a group of bandits captured in the Cudi Mountains 35 years earlier. All of them have since died, either from illness or vendettas; only Baran (Şener Şen) remains alive. After serving a 35-year prison sentence, Baran is released from Viranşehir Prison and discovers that his birthplace has been submerged under the waters of a dam. Ceren Ana (Zübeyde Erden) informs him about the past. Baran was imprisoned due to the betrayal of his old friend Berfo (Kamran Usluer), who stole the bandits' gold, purchased Baran's childhood love, Keje (Sermin Hürmeriç), from her father, and fled to Istanbul. As Baran searches for Keje, he meets a young man named Cumali (Uğur Yücel). The two men find comfort in each other to avoid being overwhelmed by the challenges of the big city. In a world where violence, betrayal, passion, boundless love, and hatred intertwine, they attempt to survive.

Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.

Every stage matters — pitch decks and treatments from development, location scouts and table-reads from pre-production, set photos and crew anecdotes from production, edit-bay notes from post, and press kits, festival memories, or marketing ephemera from distribution.
