Synopsis
During a routine patrol, a reporter is granted permission to interview a hardened Cold War warrior and captain of the American destroyer USS Bedford. The reporter's expectations are upended when the Bedford detects a Soviet submarine, prompting the captain to launch an intense pursuit that pushes his crew to the brink.
