A former IRA volunteer returns home after fourteen years behind bars and fights to rebuild his life and career as a boxer, while old loyalties and violent sectarian forces threaten to drag him back into the conflict.

Synopsis
Danny Flynn, a nineteen-year-old from Belfast, is imprisoned for his involvement with the I.R.A. He leaves behind his family and his sixteen-year-old girlfriend, Maggie Hamill. Fourteen years later, he is released from prison and returns to his working-class neighborhood to resume his life as a boxer.
