Synopsis
The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie is a 1979 Warner Brothers feature-length compilation of short cartoons starring characters such as Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and Wile E. Coyote. The film intersperses the animations with Bugs Bunny narrating past events and linking the otherwise unrelated shorts. It presents eleven complete cartoons, including “Robin Hood Daffy,” “What’s Opera, Doc?,” “Bully for Bugs” and “Duck Amuck.” The compilation highlights director Chuck Jones’s precise timing and features contributions from designer Maurice Noble, writer Mike Maltese, composers Carl Stalling and Milt Franklyn, and voice actor Mel Blanc.
