A desperate German deserter seizes an abandoned captain’s uniform and sets out to command a shattered army, only to discover that the chaotic final weeks of WWII will test his newfound authority with deadly consequences.

Synopsis
In Germany in 1945, soldier Willi Herold, a deserter from the German army, stumbles upon an abandoned Nazi captain's uniform during the final and desperate weeks of the Third Reich. Gaining a new sense of confidence from the stolen uniform, which he initially took only to keep warm, Willi finds that many Germans are willing to follow a leader, regardless of who that person may be.
